Ink on Paper
Beginning in 1975, Peavy began working increasingly in colored inks, which she often combined with collage. Her earliest known mixed media work dates from 1953. The colored ink on paper appears in numerous sizes, ranging from 11 x 15 inches to 21 x 27 inches. Many are signed, often with Lacamo’s name as well as Peavy’s, and sometimes with Lacamo’s name crossed out. At times works have two dates, such as 1975 and 1984, that Peavy went back to rework and change.
